Terms of use.

These terms cover my-ontv.com, creator accounts and applications, and the ad-free waitlist. By using the site you agree to them. If you run an approved channel, the creator agreement you accept in ON TV Studio also applies and wins where the two differ.

Who we are

my-ontv.com is run by ON TV Inc., Blanchester, Ohio. The new ON TV is an independent company. It is not affiliated with the original 1977 to 1985 ON TV service or its former owners. Historical images on this site are original recreations, and the original ON TV logo appears for historical reference only.

Creator accounts

  • You must be 18 or older, or apply for a school or campus station with an adult supervisor.
  • Give true information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
  • One account per person or group.

Applications and founding channels

  • ON TV reviews every application by hand and may approve or decline it at its discretion. Submitting an application does not guarantee a channel.
  • Founding channels are free for the first approved creators, up to the number shown on the site. Channel numbers are assigned by ON TV.
  • Revenue share, payouts and content rules for approved channels are set out in the creator agreement.

Your content

  • You keep ownership of everything you make. ON TV is non-exclusive.
  • You may only submit material you own or have the rights to, including music and clips.
  • No illegal content, no hate, no sexual content, and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.

The ad-free waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free and does not commit you to buy anything. The price shown is the planned price; the final price and the launch date are confirmed when ad-free opens. You can leave the waitlist at any time.

Using the site

  • Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the site, or sign up in bulk with automated tools.
  • The ON TV name, logo, site design, films and images belong to ON TV Inc. Do not reuse them without permission, except to share links to our pages and videos.

No warranty and limits

We work hard to keep the site running and accurate, but we provide it as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, ON TV Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site.

Ending access

You can close your account at any time through the contact form. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States.
